Dear Visitor to our Website
On behalf of the Evangelical Congregational Church, welcome to our site. Our church exists for one purpose and one purpose only, to bring glory to God. We believe that we have been created in the image of God in righteous, holiness and truth, and that we have been created to be in relationship with Him. We understand that we have fallen from that because of our sin but through the work of Christ on the cross we have the hope of forgiveness and eternal life. more

Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him. - James 1:12

Please join us starting Wednesday, February 22nd as we begin with a potluck supper at 6 PM, followed by study from John Ortberg DVD titled “God is Closer Than You Think”. If you want to just join for the study, it starts at 6:46 PM and will be led by Pastor Timothy Andrews. We will meet for the 6 Wednesdays during Lent, if you can, please bring a favorite dish to share.
A Bible Study on the Book of Job, led by Frank Mitchell will begin at 10 AM on Friday Feb 10th. The group will meet in the Koinonia room each Friday. The main theme of the Book of Job is God's sovereignty and is the cornerstone of both Christianity and Judaism.
Every Sunday morning, beginning at 9am, all are invited to participate in the Bible Discussion group led by Frank Mitchell that is held in Bailey Parlor. Feel free to join this time of lively discussion as we seek to engage the truth of Scripture for real life.
Each month on the fourth Tuesday, all are invited to meet in Bailey Parlor @ 7 PM for one hour of corporate prayer. We are called by Scripture to pray together, so please join Pastor Tim Andrews in Bailey Parlor for this monthly gathering.
